Three Fast Ways To Level Up in FarmVille

Today is it seems that no one can get enough of FarmVille! There are plenty of reasons for that. In FarmVille, you can get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Just relax, plant some seeds, harvest some crops, and make some money. Not a bad way to spend an evening. And as you do this, you'll naturally advance in levels in FarmVille.

There may come a time, though, when you want to level up quicker in the game. Why? Every time you move up a level, you unlock new seeds, decorations, and other optional items. So, in order to get the most out of your FarmVille experience, you'll want to level up quickly to unlock as many items and bonuses as you can.

Method One: Focus on Getting Experience

There are several things to keep in mind if you want to level up quickly in FarmVille. You probably already know that in order to level up, you need to accumulate experience points. For example, each plot of land you plow gets you one experience point. Once you get through the initial stages, though, you need many more experience points to level up.

Making improvements to your farm is a good way to gain some quick chunks of experience points. When you want to build up experience points quickly in FarmVille, you have to supplement your normal harvests with other activities. Buildings yield the most, but you can get experience from putting up just about any decoration or structure. You just have to pay close attention to the amounts of experience points each item will deliver.

Method Two: Choose the Best Crops

You should also take experience points into consideration when deciding which crops to plant. Crops that take less than a day to grow only yield 1 experience point, while crops that take longer yield 2. That, however, doesn't mean you only want to plant crops that offer 2 experience points. If you can get back and harvest them as soon as they're ready, crops like strawberries will get you more than 2 experience points a day because you can harvest them every 4 hours.

Method Three: Level Up Quickly By Managing Your Farm & Buildings

You have to be on top of your harvesting and planting cycles in order to make progress this way though. Putting up buildings on your farm remains the best way to get big boosts in your experience quickly.

Save up your cash for buildings, and you'll be well on your way to getting experience, and leveling up quickly in FarmVille.

FarmVille as heard on NPR

I was listening to NPR about a week ago and heard a report on FarmVille. I had never heard of it before, and was intrigued. I figured if it was featured on NPR, it either was huge, or was going to be.

Boy, was I right! There are over 58 million users now (Dec. 09), and the number is growing by tens of thousands every day!

And why? Because it is positively addictive. I am not a farmer (and I'd venture to say that neither are you), but it is great being an online farmer.

I get all the thrill of strategizing, overcoming the obstacles, watching my plants grow, and selling them on the open market, but without all the hassle of actually going out there and doing it.

What a brilliant concept...

FarmVille Secrets Revealed

Is Buying a FarmVille Guide Really Worth It?

I'd never really played the game but from the name, but I was skeptical when I started seeing guides about How to Play FarmVille. Since it is just an online game, I wondered how much strategy could go into building a virtual farm? Can you relate?

But once I started seeing these guides, I figured it'd be worth trying out the game to see what all the fuss was about.

And I was actually rather surprised. Building my own virtual farm was much more fun than I'd imagined it would be, and little more tricky.

Part of that was because there really were a lot of options and a lot of decisions to make. The more I played the game, the more I realized that there probably could be a lot of helpful information and strategy in a guide, because there were just so many ways you could play.

I was doing alright on my own, but I was getting more and more curious about what I might be missing out on.

After I reached level 10 and was having a hard time getting farther, I decided to give one of the guides a shot. I bought FarmVille Secrets, a relatively new guide and pretty up-to-date on the latest additions to the game. I really wasn't expecting too much, but this guide blew me away.

In no time, I was the Cream of the Crop, a level 24 farmer with a Big Family Farm and tons of neighbors to visit.

Using the tips I got from this guide helped me way more than I thought they would – even while I was reading them.

There's a lot more to this farming stuff than meets the eye. I'd recommend picking up a copy of FarmVille Secrets if you're interested in getting the most out of your FarmVille experience.
